Somewhat late, here are the pictures of our first week acquainting ourselves with the Belgian nuclear businesses of GDF SUEZ… |

Monday, December 13
Things get off to a good start at GDF SUEZ Nuclear Affairs Division! We attend the meeting of the team in charge of new nuclear plant projects. Our heads are spinning because of both the magnitude of the projects and the wide range of countries concerned!
Tuesday, December 14
At Synatom, GDF SUEZ, the talk is of fuel and provisions! Provisions of fuel, but not just that! The subsidiary, which is responsible for fuel supply and waste management, also handles the financial provisions for the dismantling of the Belgian nuclear plants. Note that we had the chance to include a large part of the team in the photo!
Wednesday, December 15
Some 70% engineers in a company is pretty impressive … especially when you’re shown plans like those in the photo … At Tractebel Engineering, GDF SUEZ, the engineering consultancy subsidiary, the people we met were very approachable: a young, dynamic atmosphere!
Thursday, December 16
Well, spending a week in Brussels without going to see the Grand Place is a bit like forgetting to hug your grandmother at Christmas! And we’re not just saying that because the Christmas decorations are sponsored by Electrabel, GDF SUEZ subsidiary…
Friday, December 17
You knew they made beer in Grimbergen … but did you know that Fabricom, GDF SUEZ, bends gigantic pipes for various industries like the nuclear sector? These pipes are heated by induction and shaped to obtain the desired curve to avoid having to attach “elbows”!
